Ogni tuo abbraccio, ovvero un altro anniversario

Migliaia e migliaia di anni
Non basterebbero
Per dire
Il minuscolo secondo d’eternità
In cui tu m’hai abbracciato
In cui io t’ho abbracciato.

Jacques Prévert

Al mio compagno,
perché oggi festeggiamo cinque anni di vita insieme.
Perché in questi anni abbiamo fatto tantissime cose: tra risate e momenti piuttosto difficili abbiamo messo su casa, viaggiato tanto, raggiunto obiettivi, cambiato lavori, risolto problemi.

Pic of the Month – October 2019

A couple of days ago we got to celebrate this little lady’s first birthday! Though she probably didn’t understand why we were making such a fuss I believe she really enjoyed being at the center of our attention, at least judging by her wiggling tail.

This adorable dog came to be part of the family last february, when she was just three months old. She is actually my in-laws’ dog, but given the amount of time I spend with her I actually think of her as also my doggie. In these few months she has become a great part of our lives and, sometimes, when I get home from work I stop by my in-laws’ house just to play and cuddle with her.

It’s incredible how she communicates with us and even more incredible is the love she shows for us all! A love that we reciprocate and that I’m pretty sure will continue to grow…

Pic of the Month – September 2019

Last month I got to go back to one of my favourite places on earth, the beautiful Isola d’Elba. It had been 6 years since I last were there, and I was missing everything about it: the bright colors, the smell of maritime pine trees and eucalyptus, the variety of beaches (white sand, golden sand, white rocks, dark rocks), the peaceful silence, the starry sky in the night. But the real reason behind the choice of going back there was that my boyfriend never visited the island before. One of the first things I told him when we got together was that I had to show him around Isola d’Elba so I guess that after 4 years it was time to keep my promise.

It was a great week and, though I visited the island about 15 times before last september, I even got to do something I never did before: enjoy the sunset in Viticcio with my one true love.
